Support green filmmaking at a  benefit for Sustainable Flatbush with a screening of Brooklyn filmmaker Michelle Vey’s From Elegance to Earthworms.

This film will take you on a journey through New York’s growing eco-conscious marketplace, where enterprise and innovation create sustainable solutions for everyday consumers. Through a series of interviews the film sheds a positive light on creative ideas and cutting-edge business practices that are leading the way to a greener future.

A FREE Urban Gardening Class, from Grown-Up Permaculture

“In this class we will be going over common garden pests and how to deal with them.  We will be covering details on preventing the spread of fungus and blight in your garden as well.  Additionally, we will be answering any gardening related questions that people might have.”
