Farms for the People – Window Farm

June 16, 2009

The people being us urbandwellers – so many trapped in tiny apartments with nary a fire escape to grow some potbound houseplants…

Window Farms to the rescue!  A simple, innovative hydroponic farming system you can hang in your window and grow just about anything that can fit in a reused plastic water bottle.

    Hi Folks,
Great work. I run a Farms for the People program too! I also run another program called Common Ground Project. Wish this could happen in Haiti. There are places all over the world where people have stopped learning to grow their own food becuause of food subsidies…what people need is to remember and learn how to grow their own food, urban and rural. I’m always grateful for such good ideas.
    Have a green day,
    Pepper
